With their research paper of Apoptosis Induction and Cytogenetic Screening of Ethno-botanicals in Toxicity and Cancer Research, Malalag National High School students (L-R) Denise Mae de Guzman, Khenno Hinampas and Gwyn Kenneth Narvaez won the 1st Place in Science Investigatory Project, Team Category, while Notre Dame of Maitum student Fernamel Chris Vergara was proclaimed as the champion in Sci-Damath competition. MAITUM, Sarangani (February 1, 2012) - Mayor Elsie Perrett and Mayor Ma. Laarni Cayetano of Taguig City show the memorandum-of-agreement (MOA) they signed January 27 on mutual assistance and cooperation. The MOA states among other things that there will be an active exchange of experiences, best practices, and resources in good governance particularly in the field of tourism, education, commerce/trade and industry, environmental protection, public health, and social services. There will also be continuous promotion and implementation of sustainable programs geared towards better understanding and appreciation of their respective cultures, gifts, and resources. There will also be sharing of ideas, experiences, and resources available which would be relevant and helpful to attaining the common goal of raising the quality of lives of their people.
