MAITUM, Sarangani (January 27, 2012) - Residents and visitors gather at the municipal gym to watch the culmination program and street dancing showdown of Bangsi Festival Friday, January 27. Bangsi is Maitum's One Town One Product (OTOP), providing livelihood to coastal households. Its value-added product, the marinated and half dried flying fish, is a popular pasalubong and breakfast fare. Bangsi Festival also honors the fisherfolk.
