MAITUM, Sarangani (September 1, 2020) – Rhyza Cervantes, 6, a cerebral palsy (CP) patient from barangay Kiambing, gets free checkup and physical therapy from a technical staff of Serbisyong Sarangan Community Outreach Project, Jhukarnen Jumalol, during the Community-Based Physical Therapy Training for Cerebral Palsy at the Municipal Auditorium on August 26. Physical therapy is one of the most important aspects of treating children with CP. It helps to grow their muscles, gain more strength and control their movements. The training aims to promote awareness on rehabilitation and physical therapy among the family members of CP patients who cannot afford expensive treatments. (John James I.
