230 Farmers Benefit from DA-DRRM Agricultural Farm Inputs Distribution A total of 230 farmers in the municipality received essential agricultural farm inputs through the Department of Agriculture’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DA-DRRM) Program, aimed at strengthening farm productivity and enhancing the resilience of the local agriculture sector against the impacts of natural and human-induced hazards. The distribution activity, facilitated by the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist, provided farmer-beneficiaries with various agricultural inputs necessary for crop production. Among the assistance distributed were 80 bags of inbred rice seeds, 115 bags of hybrid corn seeds, 230 bags of urea fertilizer, and 230 bags of complete fertilizer. The program seeks to support farmers by ensuring the availability of quality planting materials and fertilizers, enabling them to sustain agricultural production, improve crop yields, and recover more effectively from challenges brought about by adverse weather conditions and other agricultural risks. The Municipal Government, through the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist, remains committed to partnering with the Department of Agriculture in implementing programs and initiatives that promote agricultural growth, increase farmers’ productivity, and strengthen the resilience of farming communities throughout the municipality. #MasaganangMaitum #WowMaitum
