116 HANDHELD RADIOS DISTRIBUTED TO MAITUM BARANGAYS TO STRENGTHEN COMMUNICATION The Municipality of Maitum distributed a total of 116 handheld radios to its barangays today to enhance communication and improve coordination, especially during emergencies, disaster response, and public safety operations. The handheld radios were provided by the Provincial Government of Sarangani as part of its continuing support to strengthen the communication capabilities of local government units. Of the total units distributed, 95 handheld radios are valued at ₱3,700 each, while the remaining 21 units are valued at ₱80,000. The distribution aims to equip barangays with reliable communication equipment, ensuring faster coordination and more efficient delivery of public services, particularly during times of emergencies and calamities. #MasaganangMaitum #WowMaitum
