DSWD Emergency Cash Transfer Assistance Released to Families Affected by Recent Calamity The Municipality of Maitum, in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), successfully facilitated the distribution of Emergency Cash Transfer (ECT) assistance to families whose homes were affected by the recent calamity. A total of 32 beneficiaries received financial assistance under the program, including 30 families with partially damaged houses and 2 families with totally damaged houses. The assistance aims to help affected households begin their recovery and address their immediate needs. Leading the distribution was Mayor James Mark Reganit, together with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), who reaffirmed the local government’s commitment to ensuring that government assistance reaches those who need it most.
