BLESSING AND TURNOVER CEREMONY | MALALAG CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SPED CENTER A significant milestone in strengthening education infrastructure in the Municipality of Maitum was marked through the Blessing and Turnover Ceremony of the newly constructed school building at Malalag Central Elementary School SPED Center. The project is a 2-storey, 6-classroom school building funded under the FY 2025 Basic Education Facilities Fund (BEFF), made possible through the leadership of former Mayor Alexander Bryan B. Reganit. With a total contract cost of ₱19,844,682.91, the project was implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Sarangani District Engineering Office, with Leicheen Construction Corporation as the contractor. The blessing ceremony was officiated by Rev. Fr. Dennis Gamo, formally dedicating the new facility to its purpose of providing a better, safer, and more conducive learning environment for the learners of Malalag Central Elementary School SPED Center. The turnover ceremony was attended by Municipal Mayor James Mark B. Reganit, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, school teachers, education personnel, and other stakeholders who continue to support the advancement of education in Maitum.
