Maitum Receives Two Response Vehicles to Strengthen Disaster Operations The Municipality of Maitum has received two response vehicles donated by the Provincial Governor’s Office of Sarangani to further strengthen the municipality’s operational capacity in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) operations and emergency response services. The turnover of the response vehicles was held together with the other municipalities of Sarangani, with the units formally handed over to their respective Local Chief Executives (LCEs). For the Municipality of Maitum, the response vehicles were received by Municipal Mayor James Mark B. Reganit, representing the local government in the turnover ceremony. The additional vehicles will enhance the municipality’s mobility and logistical capacity, particularly in responding to emergencies, disasters, and other situations requiring immediate assistance and deployment of DRRM personnel and resources.
