Strengthening Community Guides, Elevating Tourism Service! B The Department of Tourism Region XII (DOT XII, in partnership with the Sarangani Tourism Investment and Promotions Center (STIPC), successfully conducted the DOT-Accredited Community Guiding Seminar, including the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE), participated in by tourism stakeholders from the seven (7) municipalities of Sarangani Province from August 22 to 28, 2026 held at Princess del Leonor Resort, Kiamba, Sarangani Province. Representing Maitum, a total of 13 participants took part in the seminar, composed of tourism stakeholders from selected Barangay Councils, tourism establishments and attractions, and LGU employees. The capacity-building activity aims to further enhance the knowledge, skills, professionalism, and service excellence of our community guides and tourism frontlinersstrengthening Maitum's commitment to providing quality, safe, meaningful, and memorable tour guiding experiences to every visitor. • Through continuous learning and collaboration, we are building a stronger network of tourism partners and empowered communities toward a more sustainable and competitive tourism industry.
